Education, Training & Accreditations

As part of our commitment to our customers, training for our state-certified technicians, sales team and managers extends beyond what the law requires. Our commercial service team regularly attends continuing education courses in pest management and is kept up-to-date on federal, state and local health regulations to ensure your business complies with increasingly stringent regulations. Our team is encouraged to further their education by taking advanced pest management courses through Purdue University Entomology Extension.

In addition, we partner with local organizations, the State of Michigan and other businesses to bring in national experts in various fields to educate our customers on topics like bed bugs, food safety and good manufacturing practices. In the past, we have partnered with the American Institute of Baking (AIB), Michigan Department of Heath Services and the Property Management Association.

This means your business will be treated with services and practices you can feel good about. QualityPro Green means we:

Use non-chemical strategies, such as sanitation, as primary methods of pest management. Investigate the source of the problem - and eliminate it - before applying pesticides. Use pesticides only when absolutely necessary.

Integrated Pest Management

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common-sense practices. IPM programs use current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment. This information, in combination with available pest control methods, is used to manage pests with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment.

Regulated Accounts

Servicing regulated accounts properly starts with Griffin Pest Solutions’ hiring the right employees who can stand up to the rigorous vendor and supplier approval processes. Many facilities we service have strict standards for hiring, training, site safety and security and environmental health and safety. We maintain those standards for all of our employees.

Regulated environments such as food processing plants, pharmaceutical facilities, and medical facilities require crucial control when it comes to pests. Griffin Pest Solutions understands the regulations set forth by the USDA, FDA, FSIS, MIOSHA, AIB and other public agencies. We know what needs to be done to ensure your facility provides proper documentation, complies with all regulations and passes inspections with flying colors. Our Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program provides the basis for a good pest management program. Then we work with our customers to design a comprehensive pest management system to integrate with their unique operation. To further assist our customers, our service team will aide in preparations for 3rd party facility audits to ensure everything is in place for inspection.

Data Trending & Analysis

Because accurate and timely information is critical to the success of your pest management program, having the most current reporting software and tracking systems is essential.

Griffin Pest Solutions field representatives electronically capture data from devices such as traps and bait stations through the use of bar-coding. Electronic capture of data allows for tending and analysis needed for your operation. Using our web-based reporting system, you are able to access all the data generated for each of your locations and view individualized reports on your account’s service for your internal use or for external audits.

You will also have 24-hour access to your account information through our web-based management system, including ability to pay online, check your account balance, service history, data reports and more.

Quality Assurance Inspection

Our Quality Assurance Managers will conduct random quality assurance inspections to ensure our customers to ensure service compliance and customer satisfaction. Following an inspection, all performance data is reviewed with the customer and then added to their online account information.
